Frequently Asked Questions

Please use the following information regarding our wedding video service to answer any questions you might have. We constantly strive for perfection and hope that we may share this special day with you and your family.

Where are you located, and what Temples do you film at?
We are located in Metro Phoenix, and serve the entire state of Arizona. In addition to filming at the Mesa, Gilbert and Phoenix Temples, filming can be scheduled for many other locations around the country for an additional fee. Examples of Temples we have filmed at include San Diego and Los Angeles.

How do I know if you're available on my wedding day?
Simply contact us online or via telephone at 602-741-8980 and we will check our schedule. We fill our schedule fast, so call early.

How do I reserve my day?
Once you have verified that your day is open on our schedule, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. This 50% deposit should be provided with the wedding video agreement as soon as possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?
The 50% deposit and final payment may be made via personal check, money order, cashiers check, or credit card. Those wishing to pay via credit card should complete the online form. At this time, we can only accept credit card payments online through our secure payment system. If you pay online via credit card, remember to mail your wedding video agreement the same day, which is required in addition to the deposit to fully reserve your date.

When is my final payment due?
As explained above, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required in order to reserve your date. The final payment is due one week prior to your wedding date. ProGravix will make every effort to allow you to make your final payment on time. If the final payment is not received by ProGravix one week prior to your wedding, the date will become unreserved, and the initial 50% deposit will be forfeited as reasonable compensation to ProGravix for the loss of work that day, and to cover the cost of services previously rendered. I'm getting married in a LDS Temple, are you familiar with that arrangement?
We sure are. We will work closely with your photographer to capture all the necessary shots from around the temple grounds to create a memory to cherish for years to come.

Do you film traditional weddings?
No. At our inception we provided this service, but quickly learned that focusing on a certain type of video service, LDS wedding videos, we could greatly enhance the product we provide.

My wedding day is overly busy, and I want to capture the footage on another day, is that possible?
It sure is. Sometimes it's frustrating to fit all of the required activities into a single day. Our schedule is flexible enough to allow the footage to be obtained at anytime. We will also make sure to be back when you emerge from the Temple as husband and wife to capture the shots with family and friends. Please note that an additional fee may be incurred for filming on separate dates.

What is a photo montage?
A photo montage is a series of photographs from the bride and groom's life from birth to present day. It tells the story of your life through photos and music, and even shares a special series of photographs from your life together thus far.

Is there a difference in the DVDs received with each package.
While the video quality of each level of DVD remains the same, the additional features available on the disc vary. Please click here to compare all three DVD versions.

What is a honeymoon finale?
A honeymoon finale is a series of photographs from the bride and groom's honeymoon. It is provided to us once they return from their honeymoon, and is added to the end of their video to cap everything off. The number of photos should be limited to no more than 45, and may be provided via email, CD, or standard prints.

I'm providing photographs for the photo montage which are very special to me. Will I get those photographs back?
Yes. During development, the photos are kept in a fire-proof safe. You will receive them back with your finished videos, which is typically delivered in less than a month from your reception, or a month from when the honeymoon photographs are received.

What types of photos should I provide? Should they be a certain size?
More and more often we are receiving digital files for the photo montage. If this method is used, please remember to keep files at 72dpi, with a resolution of no less than 800x600, and burn them to a single CD. Number the file names in the order you would like them to appear in the video (ie 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg, etc.)

If you are going to provide actual hard copy photos, please provide clean black and white or color photos no larger than 8x10, and no smaller than a wallet. Number the pictures with Post-It notes, or in pen on the back, in the order you would like them to appear in the video.

Can I pick my own background music?
Of course! The music in your video is part of what makes it unique. We offer thousands of tracks to choose from, or you may provide these yourself. This information is provided on your wedding video agreement, which we will provide. If you don't feel comfortable choosing these, then our experienced team will search our database for selections which fit perfectly.

I'm getting married in a LDS Temple, but my reception is much farther way. Will you attend my reception and capture footage there?
Certainly. If the reception is outside the Temple's metro area, an addtional fee may be incurred. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Can I have my video displayed at the reception that evening?
You sure can. As long as the schedule permits, we can have an edited digital copy available that evening. Please note that this service is free, but you will need to provide the TV or projection equipment. All packages include DVD copies, however the reception version will be in digital form. A TV or projector with HDMI connectivity
is required.
